The members of the CMS Conference Committee would like to extend their sincere apologies for the inconvenience regarding the OCCRRA professional development credit for certain conference sessions, specifically the Keynote address, Intersection of Cognitive Science and Montessori Education: Bridging Research and Practice, Montessori and the Science of Reading, and Let’s Get Cooking: It’s Not Just Meal Prep.
While we worked diligently to submit all required materials in the required timely manner, and with the same timeline as we have in prior years, unfortunately, not all speakers have been approved by OCCRRA due to unforeseen delays in their processing system. Please know this situation was beyond our control and not a result of any oversight on the part of the conference organizers or the speakers themselves.
We understand the importance of OCCRRA approved professional development credit for your professional growth and compliance, and we share your frustration with this outcome. We are actively engaging and strategizing to improve this process for future conferences.
