Founded in 1970, The New School Montessori has served Cincinnati families for more than 50 years. Located in North Avondale, the school was established by parents, educators, and community members seeking an innovative and enriching educational experience for children.
The school’s mission is to foster the development of the whole child through an intellectually rich and challenging curriculum offered in a safe, caring, and joyful environment. Its community values academic excellence, creativity, independence, diversity, peace, and respect for every child.
The New School Montessori serves children from ages 3 through 12, offering:

⭐ Lower Elementary: Ages 6–9
⭐ Upper Elementary: Ages 9–12
⭐ Half-day, part-time, and full-day options
⭐ Before- and after-school programming
The school is accredited by both the American Montessori Society and the Independent Schools Association of the Central States.
